When a child experiences a speech and language delay, it can later interfere with academic learning, especially learning to read, write and spell.

Speech and language disorders and delays can turn into language learning disabilities as the child gets older.

Early intervention of speech and language deficits through speech therapy, language services or dyslexia treatment can often decrease or eliminate later academic problems. Even as an adult it is never too late to seek help.

Corporations realize that clear and effective communication skills translate directly into a better bottom line!

Success in American society vastly depends on an individual’s ability for clear and effective communication.

Speech and language problems can cause issues into adulthood, particularly in holding a job, as well as getting promotions within that job, if the area of weakness is interfering with job performance.

Barriers towards effective communication can have a direct correlation to company image, loss of business, decreased productivity, and can prevent career advancement for the individual with the weak communication skills.
